How to use Nifty Bridge token gating
There are three different gating widgets that can be used with Nifty Bridge:
- Gated commerce
- Gated discounts
- Gated content/codes
Gated commerce
This widget is used to restrict who can purchase specific items based on wallet addresses or products held. In order to restrict an item for holders, navigate to the product page of the item you wish to gate and add the tag “NFTConfirmOwnership”
Once added the “add to cart” button will be replaced with a “Verify NFT” button. You can add the tag to entire collections or individual products. When you are ready to remove the gating widget simply remove the “NFTConfirmOwnership” tag.

Gated discounts
This widget is used to allow customers to add a discount to their cart based on either wallet address or NFTs held. To enable NFT discounts, simply tag any eligible products that you wish to allow the discount to work for with the “NFTDiscountCode” tag in Shopify. Once this tag is added, when the customer goes to checkout they will see an option to “Verify NFT” which will automatically apply a discount code at checkout. Nifty Bridge supports both one time use and multi use coupon codes through our app.

Gated content and other options
Nifty Bridge’s gating widget allows for flexible gating options outside of a traditional ecommerce format. You can use our widget to gate experiences and content as well as unlock a variety of use cases.
This widget can be used to restrict zoom meetings, video content, chat rooms, and much more. The widget can also be used to reveal one time codes that can be used for in person events or other purposes.
